stage 1 learners permit you must be at least 15 years of age must have no record with the dmv with in the last two years. you must have your parents parmission to get it. Must have it for 1 year to go for your juniors operator license. you must drive with somone that is 25 or older and they have to have there license also, the adult must sit in the passenger seat. if you get caught speeding its 3 pionts 6 pionts total. Driving without the person described above will cause you not to be able to get your license.have to have 40 hours of practice driving before getting license

stage 2 juniors operator's license 16-18 year old, past learners permit and had it for one year and past driver education and obtain a drivers ed certificate completes 40 hours behind the wheel with 10 being night time driving must have a clean driving record for six months passes the driving test. you can not do a driving job like delivering pizza unless you've had it for a year. The first three months you can not drive with anyone but the second three months you can drive with friends and family.Your parents can take your license away by calling the dmv.

I think its good that you have to go through these stages because if you didn't you wouldn't be experienced enough when you get your license and could crash and hurt yourself or others. I also think its good that you have to wait 3 months to drive with your friends because you are not used to driving and if they were talking you could get distracted and crash, and after the 3 months you would be used to driving and would be able to drive with friends.
