Change a tire on your family car under the supervision of one of your parents. If your not sure how to do it read your vehicles owners manual.Write a type 3 writeup. FCA's: 1.Describe the steps you used in changing your tire. 2.Describe the safety components involved in changing a tire.3. Correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Post by Monday 7/30

The first thing to do is to pull over to the side of the road then put your 4 ways on get out of the car look under the carpet in the trunk for the spare tire and jack, before you jack it up losen the lug nuts a little bit but dont take them totaly off, then read the side off the jack to tell you were to put it so it supports the wieght. then jack it up so the tire is 3-4 inches off the ground then take the tire iron and losen the bolts till they fall off. then you should take the tire off and put it in the trunk. then you should put the spare on and tighten it untill you cant turn it. then let the jack down slowly(never get under the car because you cant trust the jack).

Type 3 write up on insurance.FCA's: 1 Describe the following types of coverages: bodily injury liability, property damage liability, collision, comprehensive, uninsured and under insured bodily and property damage liability, and the term deductible and how it relates to collision and comprehensive coverages. 2.Describe what the state of Vermont requires for automobile insurance. 3Correct spelling, grammar and punctuation, Post by Monday, 7/30.

Bodily Injury Liability: pays for the injuries to others for which you are partially or entirely responsible for, it covers your legal fees whether or whether not you were at fault.

Property Damage Liability: pays for damage to the property of others, if you are partially or entirely responsible for the incident, it covers your legal fees whether or whether not you were at fault.

Collision Insurance: pays for the cost of repairing your vehicle or replacing your car when you or another driver was at fault.

Comprehensive Insurance: protects your car against damage caused by theft, earthquake, vandalism, flood, fire etc. Under insured bodily and property damage liability covers damages done to you or your property by a driver who does not have insurance, or doesn't have insurance that covers things like what happened. A deductible is the amount for which the insured is responsible for. It relates to Collision or Comprehensive insurance because if the damage is $1000 and your deductible is $250 then your insurance will provide you with $750 and you have to pay the $250 to cover the rest.

due 7/29 FINAL EXAM

The first place i visited was the doctors and i looked at some posters and learned about how alcohol can cause memory lose and causes brain damage. Then i looked at a marijuana poster and learned that it kills brain cells and you misjudge speed and braking while driving, marijuana affects the cerebellum and the hippo campus. The cerebellum controls your balance and posture. When marijuana is in your system your cerebellum is affected causing you to have bad coordination and bad road tracking. Then i looked at a cat scan and learned that if you crash at 10 mph it will still give you brain damage even though your not really even going that fast, brain injuries are very bad they mess up taste, senses and even cause mood swings it can even make tying your shoes difficult if you get a real bad brain injuries in some cases you have to re-learn everything like walking, talking. Then i put together a picture of a brain and learned what an injury looks like in a cat scan photo. Then i learned that the use of a seat belt reduces your risk of dieing in a car crash by 60%. More teens die each year then any age group by 80% because they didn't wear their seat belts. So wear you seat belt.

The hippo campus is affected when you drink too, It causes you to space out or black out and not remembering things

Then i visited the school i learned that every teen in a motor vehicle crash 100 others suffered non fatal injuries. Mike talked about loosing friends and what to do if you were at a party and one of your friends was drunk and you didn't want them to drive you could use these different ways to try to get them to listen to you. One way to get them to stay is to GET THERE KEYS and when your trying to do so talk to them and be like i don't think you should drive and if you want i could drive you home and i will go slow and take it easy with your car and drive extra safe. Another way is to FIND ANOTHER DRIVER and that driver would be someone sober and good friends with the person that needs a ride home and they trust each other. DELAY THE DRIVER what that means is to say hey i think you should stay longer because i have to tell you something and it will give you time to sober up and then you will be able to drive ALOT SAFER and not be drunk, just try to waste time. USE ANOTHER ANGLE talk to them and if your good friends they mite listen tell them you don't want them driving and its not safe. When talking to them make sure your away from every one because you don't want to embarrass them or anger them. You never want to let them go without trying every thing possible. Then i watched a couple videos one was a family victim who talked about there daughter Amanda, she was with a couple of friends and they were at an intersection turning left when all the sudden a car ran a red light at 70 mph and hit them broadside, Amanda died immediately because of a broken neck. Then there was an impaired victim that was convicted of drunken driving and went to jail because he hit a vehicle in front of him and the passenger got killed and he was drinking and driving so he got homicide charges. Drinking and driving is very bad and you should not do it because your dangering peoples lives.

Then i visited the lawyer and looked at case penalties of a girl who was drunk and ran a stop light and hit a vehicle and killed 4 teens and injured one. I looked at the defense and they said she wasn't drunk and the blood test didn't get refrigerated so its not accurate. The prosecution said she had 5 alcoholic drinks and she was speeding 60mph and she lied to police about the number of drinks she had. I chose the verdict guilty second degree and the jury agreed with me. Then i listened to the victims statements on how they miss there loved ones, she got a minimum sentence of 60 years.

Then i looked at the financial cost and i learned the definition of a total car and that is the cost to repair the damage is greater then the value of the car. Then they showed me the cost of getting into a crash, DUI or being taken into custody $50 towing fee, $137 for holding your car, $100 for restricted license, the insurance cost $10,800, then an alcohol education program $585, your defense attorney will cost $2,000, the court cost is $406. Your probation fee is $44, then you have to give money to the fund for head injuries which is $120, The lawyer said this is an average so it may even cost more so stay out of trouble.

I finally visited the police and i learned how to recognize an impaired driver. I also put pictures in order of what the most common thing an impaired driver would do and alot of drunk drivers swerve. They showed me the steps of getting arrested. The first step of getting arrested is getting pulled over for reasonable suspicion, 2nd step is the field sobriety test the 3rd step is Miranda rights and then taken to the station 4th step is Breathalyzer, blood, urine test to tell how much alcohol is in your system 5th step after booked held on bail and you have to pay bail, 6th step is open release and you get your court date to see if your guilty or not guilty, 7th step judge will listen to your case and he will give you your verdict.

I learned alot from this. In this accident i was the bicyclist who got injured when the car hit me and i have memory loss now but i survived with minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle will get the maximum which he deserves because he shouldn't of drove from the party, he should of sobered up before he left or had Someone else drive him. Driving is a very big responsibility and you should always drive with caution and NEVER EVER drink and drive. Driving is dangerous when people don't drive safe becuase they end up killing themselves or someone else. When you see a friend at a party and they are drinking stop them from driving so they don't injure themselves or anyone else.

due saturday 7/28 i think

Were you shouldn't pass

1) you shouldn't pass around a corner because you cant see around it.
2) you shouldn't pass through a intersection because you cant see left and right because your suppose to stop but if you don't you could get into an accident.
3)don't pass on a hill because you can't see on top and who's coming
4)don't pass when theres not enough time because you could get in a head on collision or crash
5)don't pass on a railroad crossing because you could get hit by a train at an uncontrolled rail road crossing.
6)don't pass where theres a sign that says don't pass because you can get a ticket
7)don't pass on a bridge because theres not enough room and you can't go left or right
8)don't pass in a tunnel because theres not enough room

2nd part
60mph=90 feet per second and if the car your gona pass is doing 40 mph=60 feet per second, it will take 15 seconds to pass or 3 football fields

3rd part

POULTNEY - Brent V. Poczobut admitted to police that he was behind the wheel of the pickup involved a fatal hit-and-run Wednesday morning in East Poultney, but didn't say much else, according to a Vermont State Police affidavit filed in court Thursday."Poczobut advised (the detective) that he was driving the truck that was involved in the accident," the affidavit stated. "He further admitted driving the truck and smashing the truck, but on advise of his attorney he would not talk further with (the detective)."Vermont State Police say Poczobut was the driver who struck and killed 74-year-old Paul Delorenzi on the Thrall Road Bridge in East Poultney around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Poczobut then fled the scene, and following an extensive manhunt around western Rutland County he was taken into custody about five hours later.Delorenzi was taken by ambulance to Rutland Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead as a result of multiple injuries suffered in the crash, police said. A doctor at the hospital later told police, "There is no way the operator of a motor vehicle would not know that he struck a pedestrian," the affidavit stated. Poczobut, 21, of Poultney appeared Thursday in Rutland District Court to face felony charges of gross negligent operation of a motor vehicle with death resulting, leaving the scene of a fatal crash, and a misdemeanor count of leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage.

I cant believe that this guy hit an old guy and drove off without stopping and then the 74 year old guy died in the hospitail. I think that the 21 year old should face jail time but its good that he turned himself in.

SANTA MONICA, Calif. — The troubled saga of Lindsay Lohan took another dangerous turn early Tuesday when police booked her on suspicion of drunken driving and cocaine possession after a frightened woman dialed 911 to report being chased by Lohan's SUV.Less than two weeks out of rehab, with another drunken-driving case pending, Lohan had a blood-alcohol level of between 0.12 and 0.13 percent when police found her at about 1:30 a.m., Sgt. Shane Talbot said.Lohan attorney Blair Berk said her client had relapsed and was again receiving medical care."Addiction is a terrible and vicious disease," Berk said in a statement Tuesday.Authorities had received a 911 call from the mother of Lohan's former personal assistant, said Officer Alex Padilla. The assistant had just quit hours before, he said."The mother was afraid," Padilla said. "She wasn't quite sure what was going on so she called the police saying she wanted to make sure everything was going to be OK."The woman apparently didn't realize it was Lohan who was behind her, Padilla said.Police said the woman drove her black Cadillac Escalade into the parking lot of Santa Monica's Civic Auditorium, about a block away from the Santa Monica Police Department, followed by Lohan driving a Denali sport utility vehicle. Authorities arrived and saw Lohan and the woman in "heated debate," Padilla said. Lohan and the woman each had two passengers in their vehicles, Padilla said. After a sobriety test, the 21-year-old movie star was booked on suspicion of two misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license and two felony charges of possession of cocaine and transport of a narcotic, authorities said.During a pre-booking search, police found cocaine in one of Lohan's pants pockets, Talbot said.Several hours later, Lohan was released on $25,000 bail.Padilla said he didn't know why Lohan was trying to catch the woman, whom he didn't name.Last week, Lohan turned herself in to Beverly Hills police to face charges of driving under the influence in connection with a Memorial Day weekend hit-and-run crash.Lohan lost control of her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible and crashed into a curb and shrubs on Sunset Boulevard, police said. Lohan's blood-alcohol level at the time of that crash was above the legal limit, authorities said, but they wouldn't disclose how high it was. She also faces a misdemeanor charge of hit and run in that case.A court date was scheduled in that case for Aug. 24.Lohan left Promises Malibu Alcohol and Drug Rehab Treatment Facility on July 13, after a stay of more than six weeks. When she left, publicist Leslie Sloan Zelnik said Lohan would voluntarily wear an alcohol-monitoring bracelet."In part she is wearing the bracelet so there are no questions about her sobriety if she chooses to go dancing or dining in a place where alcohol is served," Zelnik said in a statement at the time.Padilla said he wasn't sure if Lohan — who had also checked into rehab for substance abuse treatment in January — was wearing it when she was stopped early Tuesday.Since her release, Berk said, Lohan had been tested daily in order to support her sobriety."Throughout this period, I have received timely and accurate reports from the testing companies," Berk said. "Unfortunately, late yesterday I was informed that Lindsay had relapsed. The bracelet has now been removed. She is safe, out of custody and presently receiving medical care

Its not good to drink in drive and do drugs and drive with a suspended license and chase people in a car, i cant believe she didnt get in that much trouble.

New Haven - A New Haven police officer underwent surgery Wednesday night after he was seriously hurt in a motorcycle accident on Congress Street in New Haven, according to police. The police would not release the officer's name or details of the accident, which occurred about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday when a pickup truck collided with the motorcycle the officer was riding.A woman riding on the motorcycle with the officer also reportedly was hurt. Both were taken to a local hospital. The police department is expected to release information about the officer and the accident this morning

motorcycle crashes are alot worse then cars because theres not as much protection as a car.

State police will increase traffic patrols on Route 9

Wednesday, July 18MARLBORO -- The state police and the town will be working together to curb traffic concerns along Route 9.
At last week's Selectboard meeting, Brattleboro barracks commander Lt. Rick Hopkins told the board that state troopers did, in fact, police the town roads, not just Route 9, a notion expressed by the board the week before.
When Hopkins read a recent article in the Reformer about speeding on Route 9, he immediately called up the Selectboard to set up a meeting.
Having read about the town and board's concerns and feelings of helplessness, Hopkins wanted to discuss possible solutions to the problem.
There is a lot of communication between the sheriff's department and the state police, he said, so "if there's a sustained, continuous problem on a road and you told the sheriff's department about it, I'd expect to hear about it," and respond.
And when Selectboard member Lucy Gratwick asked for specific amounts of time spent policing back roads, Hopkins assured her that a larger staff was on its way.
While the state police are busy right now, Hopkins said there will be three more people on staff by the end of the summer.

Right now, "We start with places where the accidents are."
Hopkins had applied for and received a $10,000 grant from the state to aid in accident reduction on Route 9, specifically for the section running through Marlboro. This was used for 2005 and 2006, but the grant focus has since changed, Hopkins said, so he could not re-apply.
There was a limited impact, he explained, because real change requires a few years of work. "It's kind of tough to make a big difference in one year," he said.
Hopkins agreed that last year was particularly difficult, with several fatal accidents on Route 9. "There are good years and bad years. Last year was a bad year and we couldn't explain why," he said.
It was clear that something needed to be done.
State Police Lt. Bill O'Leary applied for a grant to create a position for a crash data analyst.
"With the number of fatalities we saw over the years, it became an issue to get real time crash data from Vermont," O'Leary explained.
Sarah Kepchar, the new analyst, has spent most of the past two months training.
"She's going to be able to get us data about crash patterns and causes," O'Leary said. "She's just now getting her feet wet. We're hoping, in the next couple of months, to get data reports out to the field commanders." While some accidents, such as weather-related crashes, cannot be fixed by enforcement, Hopkins said, "a lot of them you can."
"What we think we're seeing is faster drivers," Selectboard member Craig Hammond said.
"It seems people are more distracted when they're driving and just fly," Selectboard Chairwoman Gail MacArthur added. "With new cars, you don't know you're going so fast."
Hopkins agreed, saying that speeding cars could also affect residents' quality of life.
Road Commissioner David Elliott said it was important to see the truth of the issue. "It's not out-of-staters," he said. "It's Vermonters that know where they can make up a little time."
It was also important to recognize that college students and participants in the summer music festival were not really as much of a problem as suggested, Gratwick said. It's residents in Marlboro and Halifax that cut through town on their way to work, Elliott agreed.
Hopkins suggested three solutions:
* The state police could do a speed survey with an unmarked car with a laser.
* They could put a "smart cart," an electronic display that gives drivers a real-time visual of their speed, on the road. Doing so, however, tends to be a double-edged sword as people may accelerate to see how high they can get the reader to go.
* Or Marlboro could send a representative to the community advisory board.
The community advisory board is comprised of people from all towns within a department's jurisdiction.
It meets quarterly with the state police to discuss issues, serving as a "conduit between the town and the state police," Hopkins said.
Representatives also have a direct contact to call with issues or trends between meetings.
Although there was an attempt in the past to send someone from Marlboro, there is currently no representative on the board.
The next meeting, possibly an open house, will be held in October. There will be a statewide meeting in December.

its good that the police are keeping a good watch on traffic and trying to reduce speeding and making driving a little bit safier.

BOSTON -- Massachusetts State Police Sunday were looking for the drivers of two cars who may have left the scene of a deadly crash on I-95 that killed two men.
Both vehicles were described by witnesses as dark colored Honda Accords or cars similar in appearance. "One is believed to have an altered height in a 'low-rider' style," state police said in a statement.
Two people were killed and two others suffered serious injuries after the five-car crash on I-95 northbound in Attleboro early Saturday morning.

The multi-car crash occurred when a 1998 Honda Civic driven by Isaac D. Souza, 21, from Leominster, Mass., entered the breakdown lane, striking an unoccupied 1997 Honda Accord.
The Civic then spun back into the highway and set in motion a crash involving three other vehicles.
Souza was declared dead at the scene. The driver of a 2004 Dodge Dakota, Michael G. Doble, 36, from North Attleboro, was killed when his truck rolled over. Claudia DeLeone, 22, and Jose Gouveia, 21, suffered serious injuries and were taken to Rhode Island Hospital. A 16-year-old suffered minor injuries in the crash.
Police said they are looking for anyone who might have information about the two cars that may have left after the accident.

when you get in an accident you should never leave the scene until you have spoken with the police and they say your good to go because you have to give your insurance to the driver or drivers you got in an accident with.

2nd part when you want to time your arrival into and intersection and you see a red lght drive slow and take your time to get there and if your far enough away and driving slow enough you mite just get there as soon as it turns green and when it does scan 45 degree search when driving through.

3rd part its good to drive with a 4 second following distance because if the car infront stops you will be able to make a nice smooth stop and you will have a good reaction distance, its also good because if the car infronts crashes into another car you will see it and be able to stop or go around, and if some one was following you with a 4 second following distance you wouldnt get rear ended .

BOSTON -- A motorcyclist was seriously injured after being hit by a tractor-trailer truck on Route 1 South in Sharon Thursday.
The accident occurred near the Route 27 intersection about 11:45 a.m. and the truck operator did not stop.
The motorcyclist, who has not been identified, was taken by MedFlight to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

i cant believe that the truck driver hit and ran, thats terrible. If the truck driver gets caught he should go to jail and lose his license.

Thursday, July 12PITTSFIELD — A city man was killed early yesterday morning in a one-vehicle crash on Highland Avenue.
Jared Benham, 21, of Constitution Road, was traveling northbound on Highland Avenue in a 1999 Ford Explorer at around 1:41 a.m. when he lost control over the vehicle in the 200 block and collided with a tree, according to police.
The young man was pronounced dead at the scene by Medical Examiner Benjamin Glick.
The Pittsfield Police and Fire departments and an ambulance from American Medical Response responded to the scene.
Though speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, the collision is still under investigation by members of the Pittsfield Police Accident Investigation Unit.
Police issued an appeal for accident witnesses to come forward.
Those who can help should contact the police at (413) 448-9723.

if he wasn't speeding he probably wouldn't have lost control of his vehicle. Speeding is a big factor in alot of vehicle crashes. Driving rules should be stricter and cops should be out alot more

Thursday, July 12Emergency workers respond last night to the Farmington River in Sandisfield after a van drove off the road during heavy rain showers and plunged into the river in the New Boston section of town. Sandisfield firefighters and state police responded to the crash, which occurred shortly before 7 p.m. No one appeared to be seriously injured.

its good that no one was seriously hurt but when it starts rianing you should pull over on the side of the road and put your 4 ways on and wait out the storm or just let the rain calm down

stage 1 learners permit you must be at least 15 years of age must have no record with the dmv with in the last two years. you must have your parents parmission to get it. Must have it for 1 year to go for your juniors operator license. you must drive with somone that is 25 or older and they have to have there license also, the adult must sit in the passenger seat. if you get caught speeding its 3 pionts 6 pionts total. Driving without the person described above will cause you not to be able to get your license.have to have 40 hours of practice driving before getting license

stage 2 juniors operator's license 16-18 year old, past learners permit and had it for one year and past driver education and obtain a drivers ed certificate completes 40 hours behind the wheel with 10 being night time driving must have a clean driving record for six months passes the driving test. you can not do a driving job like delivering pizza unless you've had it for a year. The first three months you can not drive with anyone but the second three months you can drive with friends and family.Your parents can take your license away by calling the dmv.

I think its good that you have to go through these stages because if you didn't you wouldn't be experienced enough when you get your license and could crash and hurt yourself or others. I also think its good that you have to wait 3 months to drive with your friends because you are not used to driving and if they were talking you could get distracted and crash, and after the 3 months you would be used to driving and would be able to drive with friends.

assignment due 7/7

1) The horn is a great way to communicate with drivers because if you were going around a sharp corner on a skinny dirt road you could beep your horn to let them know your going around it.
2) Brake lights are a good way to communicate too because if you hit the brakes the lights will light up and the person behind you will know your slowing down.
3)Blinkers are another way to communicate because if you put on your left blinker they will know that your turning left.
4) Headlights are also a good communcation way because if you were to flash them at someone driving by they will know that theres danger ahead.
5) The 4 way blinker is a good use of communication because if you are breaking down or broken down it will let others know.

POINT ASSESSMENT STATUTES

The point assessment has a bunch of rules that have been broken and show how much trouble you would get in or how many point they would put on your license for not obeying a simple stop or running a red light or not stopping for a pedestrian, or not stopping for a train, or passing a school bus, pretty much everything your not suppose to do you will get points added to your license or worse lose it!

I think that the law is awesome because most people will follow them because they don't want to lose there license so most people drive safer and the people that don't follow these rules will get in alot of trouble because there driving reckless. It is also good for everyone else because you can feel a little bit safer when your driving because you know most people will follow these rules but the people that don't will end up killing someone or themselves and get in alot of trouble.

Class size will be limited to 25 participants. Registration deadline for this class is Friday, June 22. To register for the class, which costs $10 to

i think that it is awsome that elders can refresh there driving skills so that they can do this for there safety and everyone Else's safety. Because if you have been driving for alot of years you could get road rage or just alot of aggression and you might think you can not pay attention to the road as much because you think you are a great driver.

SIGNS

STOP sign is red and octagon with big white writing that says stop, you will find a stop sign at the end of a road that pulls out into another road or intersection. You must stop before the stop sign you must yield to pedestrians and other vehicles approaching the intersections

the different between these two is that yield is triangular and stop is octagon and they have different meanings.

YIELD sign is red and triangular with white letters that say yield, to yield it means to let others use the intersections before you do, if there is another driver on the through street you must slow or stop after you leave a stop sign, then you have not yielded the right of way

SCHOOL ZONE sign is light green sign that looks like home plate in baseball with black writing and a picture of two kids, when you see this sign you should slow right down to the posted speed limit because kids can dart out in front of you. This sign is posted in school zones.

the difference between yield and school zone is that there different colored and have different meanings.

said he went from "stressing about social acceptance to giving a speech to my graduating class without wetting myself."
But, he reminded his fellow graduates, "We survived those crises. We can take on anything."
He also told the Class of 2007 not to worry about what other people think of them as they go out into the world.
"Fitting in is such a ridiculous idea. Live in a way that allows you to be comfortable with what you have accomplished."
Valedictorian Alyssa Dandrea asked Salutatorian Aidan Smith and Emily Potter to share the podium with her.
"Only a matter of decimal points separated us," said Dandrea, adding "it's truly been a privilege to grow up with amazing individuals who care about one another and the community."
"Cherish the little things and appreciate those who helped make us who we are today," were Potter's words of wisdom for her fellow graduates.
"Think for yourself," said Smith. "Ask questions and don't follow people blindly."
Paraphrasing Star Trek, Smith told his fellow graduates to "explore strange new worlds, seek out a new life and possibilities and boldly go where no one has gone before."
During a somber moment for the crowd, scholarships in memory of Kelsey Wells and Kevin Squires were presented for the first time. The pair died in a car crash last fall, killed by an intoxicated driver.
"Kelsey will be most remembered for her generous and giving spirit," said Sue Wells, whose daughter graduated in 2006.
Christina Nelson and Heather Cleveland received the Kelsey Wells Scholarship.
"He was a dedicated and hard working student," said Melissa Whitney, who presented the Kevin Squires Scholarships to Brandon Bucossi and Wemyss Scott . "Whether in the class or on the field he always gave more than 100 percent. He never gave up. He will be remembered for his big heart."
Squires graduated with the Class of 2003.
One speaker reminded the graduates they are moving into uncertain waters.
"The Class of 1942 was where you are today," said Gerta Swanson, who presented the 1942 In Memoriam Trophy and Scholarship . "We had much trepidation and there was a war going on. You are in the same circumstances," but she assured the graduates, "everything is going to be fine."
Also, a first time scholarship for further study in the arts was awarded to three graduates.
"People often do incredible things," said David Dunn, the chairman of the school board. Ralph Eames, whose father was a custodian at Brattleboro High School years ago, left a sizable fortune to BUHS after he passed away last year. The bequest, in the amount of nearly $2 million, is the biggest in Brattleboro's history.
This year, the school gave away three $7,500 scholarships -- the Eames Award for Further Study in the Arts -- to Molly Steinmark, Abigail Nace and Alyssa Dandrea.
Next year, said Dunn, the school hopes to disburse six scholarships and the following years it will disburse up to nine.
"Thank you Mr. Eames," said Dunn. "You will not be forgotten.

when she was thrown from a car in a rollover on Route 142 on Saturday night.
According to Brattleboro police, Mark Johnson, 19, of Brattleboro, was allegedly speeding while driving south near Triple T Trucking. Police said he lost control of the car, causing it to roll twice before coming to a stop on the roof.
One of the three occupants was a woman who was ejected from the car, but police did not give her name or the nature of her injuries. Capt. Steve Rowell did say that she was transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital then transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.
The other two passengers reportedly crawled out of the car and were not seriously hurt.
Police said all three passengers were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
Johnson, the driver, was later arrested for gross negligent operation resulting in serious bodily injury. He was released on a citation to appear at a later date.
The Brattleboro Police Department responded along with the Brattleboro Fire Department and Rescue Inc.
One man hurt in Route 9 accident

I think that if they were all wearing seatbelts they would of been safer and the woman who died would probobly still be alive.
